Finding People even on vacation

So you all know I was in Thailand this past month, and I have to say that if you’ve never been it’s an amazing place. The beaches of Phuket are true paradise, and the food was amazing, especially if you like spicy! Yummers! So I’m laying on the beach sipping my mid-afternoon daiquiri, hey it was 5 o’clock somewhere, and the brit next to me offered me his USA Today paper to read. Being the savvy, on top of what’s going on with the world kind of guy I nod and am excited to read about what’s been going on in the good ol US of A. And lo and behold there is an article, on yes you guessed it “social networking” coincidence? I think not… I found the article online when I got back home to share, here it is: USA Today -Social News Network And then, you’re never going to believe this! My girlfriend and I are out snorkeling and when we get back we meet a German couple who tells us about the many sharks out in the ocean. Let me say ignorance is bliss, because if we would have talked to them before we went out in the ocean we never would of gone out. I end up going to the business center of our hotel and getting online to check email, and some people search sites. It mellows me out. Just look at the site I found. The blog is about finding people, but it is also about something I almost encountered on my snorkeling trip: People Searches Trippy huh? Had a total twilight zone moment. Catch you later with more stories from beyond.
